"Heroes Reborn" will be having a two-hour premiere this Fall, and NBC has been releasing multiple teaser videos to grab the attention of viewers before its debut. There were some sneak peeks shared a few months ago — the first one was aired during the Super Bowl in February.
That "Heroes Reborn" clip showed cast Jack Coleman, who will reprise his role as Noah Bennet, observing a girl who seems to be controlling the aurora borealis in front of what looked like a solar eclipse. ComicBook.com learned that the mysterious girl standing in the Arctic was Malina.
A new teaser clip was released by the network. In this video, Malina's face was already unveiled.
"It's happening faster than we thought," she said. "I don't think I can control it much longer," she said in the clip.
Malina will be played by the "Retribution" actress Danika Yarosh. There's nothing much revealed about the role that Yarosh will be playing, but according to the character description on Heroes Wiki, she's an elemental.
That said, it means she controls the elements. The description further stated that she had known about her powers and spent the last two years in training at the Arctic.
Series creator Tim Kring has already confirmed that "Heroes Reborn" will pick up five years later from the original "Heroes" series that ended in 2010. He added that it was like five seasons later, so it can be considered as season ten, Slash Film reported.
In addition to these sneak peeks, NBC has also released a synopsis of the series, as per the report of International Business Times.
It stated that the show reboots bringing new inspiring heroes who will be ultimately struggling between those with special abilities and those with vile motives to hunt and hone their powers.
The "Heroes Reborn" synopsis further indicates that these new heroes will cross paths with the original characters as they unlock the shadowy destiny of the universe.
"Heroes" fans, do not forget to mark your calendars. "Heroes Reborn" will premiere on Sept. 24, on NBC.
