Ronda Rousey's fight with Holly Holm was moved to an early schedule on Nov. 14, and that was very fortunate for Marine Jarrod Haschert. The re-scheduling reportedly freed the UFC Champ's calendar, so she said yes to Haschert's invite, ESPN learned.
Netizens can remember that the 22-year-old Marine uploaded a video inviting Rousey to his date for the Marine Corps Ball on Dec. 11.
Hey guys, I'm trying to take Ronda Rousey to the Marine Corps Ball this year and I need your help to reach out to her and her fans. Please share this post and video. Thank you!!

This 34-second video proposal was worth the shot, Brotha!
Haschert has made a couple of appearances in multiple media outlets, which might have helped because finally, the proposal came into Rousey's attention, according to CNN. If the January fight had not been not moved, it might have not been possible as her schedule will be caught up mostly with training.
The 28-year-old champ reportedly had one dilemma. She did not know how to contact him.
"I don't know how to ... hit him up and say, 'Yeah, I want to go with you,'" she said. "...Do I have to call him or do I set up a time and place like 'Never Been Kissed,' and just show up?"
Wait, there's more to the story!
The UFC's hot fighter might be interested in the Marine hunk, TMZ found out. However, she warned him that she was not the "first date kind of girl."
"Yeah, he's cute," Rousey was quoted. "I'm not a first-date kind of girl, but we'll see when I meet him."
Talking about Rousey's UFC career, many are already asking if she is planning on retiring anytime soon. She's thought about it, yes, but she refuses to set a date.
Although, many believe that her fight with Cris "Cyborg" Justino could be the mark of it, if that happens. Fox Sports reported was still thinking about the idea of fighting her — the one that could probably make her feel satisfied with her body of work.
"It feels unfinished still. [The 'Cyborg' fight] that definitely would [make it feel finished]. But if she never steps up, I'll know," UFC women's bantamweight champion said.
"I'll probably go a little longer waiting for her, but if she shows up sooner rather than later, I don't know how much longer I would go after that," the former Olympian added.
