'The Originals' Season 3: Joseph Morgan Taunts '#BloodTearsAndBetrayal' As Trouble With Their Children Looms

"The Originals" Season 3 will head back to CW to delight their fans and give an awesome performance in the continuation of the Mikaelson saga led by the character you love and hate at the same time, Klaus Mikaelson, portrayed by Joseph Morgan.

In his Twitter account, the actor wrote: "Season 3 #TheOriginals is without a shadow of a doubt the the most dynamic, gripping and intoxicating season yet. #BloodTearsAndBetrayal." That statement made the fans go wild as they wait in anticipation for the season premiere. So, expect that there will be deaths, tears and of course backstabbing and a lot of jaw dropping twist and turns in the story.

Design&Trend reported, "The Originals" Season 3 will reveal Rebekah, Elijah and Klaus' children who will pay them a visit in New Orleans.

Executive producer Julie Plec, disclosed to Entertainment Weekly that Season 3 will be filled with several flashback episodes which will show Elijah, Klaus and Rebekah's early years as bloodsucking vampires. Plec explained, "We have a whole series of flashbacks over the first chapter that tell the story of the Originals' first year as vampires before the word 'vampire' had even been assigned to them."

She said that going back to the past will make the viewers aware of the Mikaelson siblings learning what their capabilities are, where they could blend and in and what they can do to adopt the breeding of a cultured and rich family despite the fact that they were shabby Vikings on the run.

Incorporated within those blast-from-the-past scenes are the origin story of each of the siblings' children collectively known as The Trinity, as what fans will see in Season 3.

Plec added, "we understand why The Trinity themselves might have reason to be a little pissed off at our hero family." Furthermore, Joseph Morgan commented on the arrival of their children in New Orleans.

Morgan said, "There's also this element that it's not just the three of them but they're in contact with a lot of the sire line for each of us so it's like, 'Hey, remember us? All those vampires that you turned who you've now abandoned? Well guess what, we're not too happy about that and here's why.'"

Klaus's progeny, Lucien, is described as charming, smart and a wildly successful vampire who praised himself on always being two steps ahead from anybody else, as per Entertainment Weekly.

Watch "The Originals" Season 3 on CW on Oct. 8, Thursday back-to-back with the season premiere of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7.
