"NBA 2K16," the massively successful sports game may not be here yet but it's certainly getting a lot of buzz.
One thing in particular is Los Angeles Lakers Star, Kobe Bryant. Fans and even players are surprised about the "NBA 2K" rating of 85, the lowest he had of all time.
As reported by Complex, TMZ Sports recently caught Oklahoma City Thunder player Dion Waiters having a stroll and enjoying a sweet popsicle.
Asked if he's been playing "2K," he then told the cameraman that "I play 2K and I play Madden." When told about Bryant's rating, he gave a surprised answer of "85?! you gotta ask the Mamba about that."
According to NewsOK, Waiters was also asked what his "2K" rating should be, he just told "I ain't sure." and when further asked whether he should be ranked higher than the player her grew up watching, Waiters said, "Hell no. That's the Bean, man."
Waiters' reaction was found funny by spectators and bloggers alike. Known for his funny delivery of expressions, the OKC Thunder star was asked last March why he was late for a game, he then stated that his "stomach" was to blame then added "what I ate" then flashed the camera, a sly grin.
In other related news, "NBA 2K16" has just further announced two additional classic teams that you can use while playing.
As reported by Bleacher Report, the two new teams are the 2004-2005 Phoenix Suns and the 2005-2006 Miami Heat.
The 04-05 Suns were led by legendary point guard Steve Nash and was coached by offense genius, Mike D' Antoni. The mentioned team won 62 games and reached the Western Conference Finals that season.
Meanwhile, the 05-06 Miami Heat features a young Dwayne Wade and a still dominant Shaquille O' Neal. The 05-06 incarnation of the Heat of course, won the 2006 NBA Finals.
