Snyder also said that they wanted a female director for "Wonder Woman" and found Patty Johnson, who apparently has the same vision as what they had for the character Gal Gadot will reportedly be playing.
"We're really happy that we're going to be going into production in November, it's been a really great process," she added. "We've tried to hire as many female members of the crew as possible."
"Wonder Woman" will be making her debut in the upcoming DC film "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," which stars Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman.
It is yet to be known if Superman or Batman will be making an appearance on the spin-off. At this point, the cast and the plot still remain under the wraps.
What has been revealed is the actor who will be playing Steve Trevor. "Star Trek Into Darkness" actor Chris Pine, landed the role to play opposite to Gadot's character as her love interest, Comingsoon.net reported.
Rumor has it that the movie will be set in World War II. "Wonder Woman," who is also known as Princess Diana of the Amazon, does not age the way like other humans, hence, her appearance on "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is speculated as a reflection of her almost being immortal.
Prior to the movie, there was a TV series of the same title which starred Lynda Carter, according to the Nerdist.
"Wonder Woman" is slated to be released on June 23, 2017, data as per IMDb.
