"Arrow" is dead, at least that's what Oliver Queen said. But based from this new trailer, it seems he's got himself a new replacement.
"Arrow" fans have been expecting for some changes, but what was shown in these clips were more than just ordinary changes. These will definitely spice things up in season 4.
1. No more Starling City
Apparently, Oliver Queen's, played by Stephen Amell, beloved city has been renamed to Star City in memory of Ray Palmer. In DC comics, Star City is the hometown of Green Arrow.
The idea that "Arrow" is dead, and the beginning for Oliver being the Green Arrow somehow ties up to this change, according to Movie Pilot.
2. New suits for Oliver and Diggle
Oliver's new sleeveless costume is reportedly closely similar to the suit Green Arrow used in the comics. Meanwhile, Diggle has a new helmet, and it looks like "X-Men's" Magneto's.
3. Damien Darhk unleashes his powers.
In the trailer, we can see Darhk, played by Neal McDonough, stopping the arrow that Oliver just fired at him, using his bare hand. Is it a newly developed psycho-kinetic ability or somethig else?
There are also speculations which suggest that the ring on his hand may have done the trick.
"Arrow" executive producer Wendy Mericle also teased about Oliver trying to win Diggle's trust back, TVLine reported. But it's not going to be easy.
"Their reconciliation, how they get there, is going to be a bumpy ride," Mericle said. "It's not going to be fully resolved."
What about Olicity?
Marc Guggenheim, another executive producer of the show, revealed to TV Insider, that before deciding to settle down in another city, the couple travelled around the world over the last five months, Fashion & Style learned.
Guggenheim made an assurance that no break up is going to happen anytime soon. We can see in the video though that Oliver was trying to propose to Felicity.
Should fans expect a wedding to happen instead?
Mark your calendar "Arrow" fans. Season 4 premieres on CW on Oct. 7.
