Lupus-Battling Nick Cannon Thanks Mom, Children For 'AGT' Finale Presence While Mariah Carey Attends Harper’s Bazaar Icons Event At NYFW

Lupus-battling Nick Cannon expressed his thanks to his mother and his two children, Monroe and Moroccan, through his Instagram post as his show, "America's Got Talent," ended with a two-hour finale on Wednesday night. In his post, the 34-year-old host said that he was grateful that his mom and children from his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, were there by his side.

Nick Cannon, who has been battling a lupus-like autoimmune disease, shared his Instagram shoutout of love and thanks to his 1 million followers. The post came when his mom and his children supported him during the season finale of "America's Got Talent," a show he has been hosting for some time now. While his two adorable kids were present, his ex-wife was noticeably missing. But her absence was understandable since she made an appearance at the Harper's Bazaar Icons Event during the New York Fashion Week, also on Wednesday, Popsugar reported.

"#AGT finale love that my mother and children were by my side. Great night!!!" Cannon captioned his Instagram post.

Aside from sharing a pic with his mom, Nick Cannon also shared another Instagram post where his daughter Monroe handed him two "DAD" cufflinks. The lovely pic of Monroe showed how proud Cannon is of his daughter.

"Tonight #MissMonroe showed me Love with these amazing "DAD" cufflinks tonight. #unconditionallove #DaddysLittleLady" he wrote.

Meanwhile, the season finale of "America's Got Talent" was indeed exciting as mentalist Oz Pearlman, comedian Drew Lynch, professional regurgitator The Professional Regurgitator aka Stevie Starr, R&B duo the Craig Lewis Band and ventriloquist Paul Zerdin battled for $1 million. But in the end, it was Paul Zerdin who succeed and became "AGT" Season 10 champion, E! News noted.

In other news, Nick Cannon's ex-wife Mariah Carey has replaced Kate Upton as the new face of the "Game of War" commercials. According to Hollywood Life, the 45-year-old songstress showed her killer combat skills as she shot a dragon on the latest promos for mobile app "Game of War: Fire Age."

While battling lupus was a struggle to Nick Cannon, he never let it slow him down. Instead, he continues to face it positively. He also shares positive quotes on his Instagram account to show his determination in winning over the disease and to show his fans he's not a person who easily surrenders.
