"Pretty Little Liars" Season 6B is still in hiatus and will not return until January next year. But "PLL" fans are already getting excited about what will the hit ABC Family drama has to offer. And since the big "A" reveal, some are quite reluctant if the upcoming midseason premiere this winter will be still worth watching for.
Even though there's still three months away from "Pretty Little Liars" 6B, showrunner Marlene King as well as the "PLL" cast have already been dropping clues through social media. So, here are 6 reasons why the midseason comeback of "Pretty Little Liars" is worth it.
1. Since Spencer is sporting a new hairstyle, what have she become after the 5-year time jump from "Pretty Little Liars" Season 6 summer finale?
As the series continues with a five-year time jump, fans will see more mature Aria, Emily, Hanna, Spencer and Alison. According to Melty, Alison is already a teacher and married while Hanna is engaged. But with the clues shared on social media, fans can't help but wonder on what Spencer has become. With her new look, it wouldn't be impossible if she followed her mom's footsteps and entered politics. So, did she?
2. Wren's "Pretty Little Liars" Season 6B return and possible dark side.
Julian Morris, the actor who played Wren's character in "PLL," hinted his enigmatic role's possible return in the series before it wraps up its final season.
"I've promised Marlene [King] that I will return at some point in the season to resolve my character -- for myself and also for the fans," the actor said, as per MTV. "So as long as she's still up for that, I will come back in some capacity. It would be cool."
3. No more fear and fright, only romance?
"Pretty Little Liars" Season 6B will have more romance than the previous season. Venture Capital Post" revealed that King confirmed the finale of Season 6B will tone down on the scare and will delve more on the romance side.
4. "Pretty Little Liars" Season 6B returns to the Lost Woods Resort?
King is reportedly hinting the series will return to the Lost Woods Resort. For the non-followers, the Lost Woods Resort was shown in seasons 2, 3, and 4, International Business Times noted. The "PLL" ladies went there to investigate after finding a postcard, leading them to the place. So, what is the new mysteries hidden in the Lost Woods Resort?
5. "Big Bad" is the newest Rosewood villain!
Along with the the time jump and the new direction of the series, a mysterious new villain will be also be introduced. As per another Melty report, King has teased, the new "big bad" was involved in (if not responsible for) Mrs. DiLaurentis' murder, making them someone the girls knew from high school. Would it be Lucas, Jason, Wren, Toby, Ezra or Caleb?
6. CeCe Drake's mental health issues may be addressed.
Since King revealed that CeCe will return in Season 6B, it suggests her story will get the further explanation fans hoping for, Bustle has learned. And though she may have declared that she wasn't mentally ill when she was wrongfully checked into Radley as a child, but that doesn't mean she doesn't suffer from some sort of mental illness.
Meanwhile, "Pretty Little Liars" Season 6B will premiere on Jan. 6, 2016 on ABC Family.
