The "Fallout 4" mod creation kit, which will allow players to modify the game code, will be coming to Xbox One after its PC release. However, Games Spot learned that timetable for the PC release was still uncertain.
It was mentioned during E3 that the mod of "Fallout 4" will be released first in Xbox One before PlayStation 4, as part of the arranged deal with Microsoft. The "Fallout 4" mods that they will be doing with PC is reportedly similar with "Skyrim."
"You'll have all the PC mods, but what's really exciting is we are finally bringing it to console," Todd Howard, Game Director at Bethesda said.
"Once we get the creation kit out on PC, it's then going to come to Xbox One," he added. "There's a lot of back-end things we need to do, and once that's done the plan is to talk with Sony and get them on board. But the timetable is kind of fuzzy right now."
"Fallout 4" will be launched on Nov. 10 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Expansion packs are slated for a 2016 release, with regular free updates and paid DLCs at $30.
Meanwhile, the "Fallout"-themed Monopoly game is here, and it's available for pre-order. The game features a modified board, but the standard locations like Free Parking, and Go to Jail are still there.
Everything else on the board was replaced with locations from the "Fallout" game, such as Shacks and Vaults, Game Zone reported. Instead of the classic/standard tokens, which include Automobile, Top Hat, Thimble, Shoe, Wheelbarrow, Battleship, they were replaced by Pistol, MiniNuke, Nuka-Cola Bottle, Power Armor Helmet, Vault Boy, and Vault 111.
Monopoly: Fallout Collector's Edition also includes custom "Fallout" money and Vault Dweller's Survival Guide. The S.P.E.C.I.A.L. cards also replace the Chance & Community Chest Cards, according to Bethesda's Store site, where it can be pre-ordered for $40.
Additional instructions from the site stated that the orders will be held until the product becomes available. The estimated ship date, currently, is on Oct. 30.
It can also be pre-ordered at GameStop. It says on the site that the release date is Oct. 1.
