‘Assassin's Creed Syndicate' News: 5 Burning Questions About Ubisoft's Upcoming Game Answered

"Assassin's Creed Syndicate" is set to be released on Oct. 23, 2015, and GottaBe Mobile recently learned that Ubisoft's upcoming game has micro transactions.

Francois Pelland of Ubisoft confirmed that "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" will be including paid options to save time and fast-track progress. Although, he said everything that can be bought with money was something that can be also earned in the game.

The micro transaction in "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" is 100 percent optional, without content lock, Game Debate additionally learned.

This news was confirmed during the community Q&A, hosted by IGN, with Ubisoft Quebec. Other than the controversial micro transactions, the game developer also answered these five burning questions from fans.

1. ScornfulOdin399 asked if there will be elements of customization/progression concerning the train hideout, and to what extent.

Creative Director Marc-Alexis Côté said that the train hideout is the player's home base. It would reflect the progress player has made in London, and it will change depending on what was completed in the game.

2. Alistair3900 wanted to know how the decision making process go in terms of which historical figures from the Victorian era to be included.

Côté said that one of the reasons why they chose 1868 was to optimize the amount of historical figures they could include. However, the cut still has to be made.

"The way we've looked at this on Assassin's Creed Syndicate is to try to have historical characters that represent different subjects to create a well-rounded experience for players," he added.

3. Jnoel16 asked the extent of customization for the twins.

"Gamers will have many customization options in the outfits, accessories and weapons they use in the game," Côté replied.

4. Sk-Ralko wanted to know if it was possible to switch between characters.

"Assassin's Creed Syndicate" players can switch between Jacob and Evie in the open world using the pause menu as explained by Côté. Story missions, though, are attached to the characters, so if the change is required, it will happen seamlessly before the mission starts.

5. PretzelGames asked if there would be certain weapons exclusive to each twin.

"Both our Assassins share the same new, more concealed weapons and their way of fighting has evolved," Côté said.

He added that players would be able to fight using swords, kukris, knives, brass-knuckles, darts and revolvers — which will happen first time in "Assassin's Creed."
