Taylor Swift filed a counterclaim against the former KYGO radio DJ and is asking for a jury trial. If ever the "Wildest Dreams" singer receives any money from the lawsuit, she will reportedly donate the amount to a charitable institution.
The name of these organizations were not specified, but it was mentioned that these were the ones that protect women from similar acts of "sexual assault and personal disregard," USA Today reported.
In September, David Mueller filed a lawsuit against Calvin Harris' girlfriend in Denver U.S. District Court claiming that the false accusation of Swift's camp cost him his job. In 2013, Mueller attended Swift's concert at the Pepsi Center and was reportedly invited backstage for a meet-and-greet where the butt-grabbing incident happened.
One of Swift's security guards approached him and made the accusation that he was the one who did it. He got kicked out from the venue, as per the report of TMZ in September. Mueller claimed it was a co-worker who did it and not him; hence, the unjustified termination from work.
"Ms. Swift knows exactly who committed the assault - it was Mueller," attorneys for the "Bad Blood" singer noted on the counter argument.
The lawsuit counter claim submitted by Swift's camp reportedly stated that Mueller did not only brush his hand against the singer while posing for a snap. He also lifted her skirt.
Additionally, the song writer's publicist reportedly released a statement that an evidence was given to the employer of the former DJ following the incident, and firing him was their own decision.
Mueller nor his attorney has yet to comment on the counter claim submitted against the lawsuit he filed.
Meanwhile, it seems Swift's boyfriend will be filing his own lawsuit too. Scout learned earlier this month that the 31-year-old record producer threatened to sue the orchestrator of his and the 25-year-old singer's alleged split.
Rumor has it that the Hollywood couple broke up because Swift found out of Harris' infidelity — being the recipient of sexual "happy ending" when he visited a Thai massage parlor in L.A.
Harris reporetdly took to Twitter and posted, "It's not going to be a 'happy ending' for everyone I sue for defamation of character for all these b*llsh*t stories bye bye."
The breakup rumors don't seem to affect Swift, who as a matter of fact, is already excited to spend time with Harris when her tour ends, an insider told the Hollywood Reporter.
