"The Originals," which started as a spin-off of "The Vampire Diaries," has come a long way. Now on its season 3, the show's executive producers teased what can be expected from the plot, cast and their characters.
First up, "The Originals" and "The Vampire Diaries" crossover. If this is to happen anytime soon, it will be the third time that the characters of the two TV shows will be seeing each other, according to Design & Trend.
"We've been thinking about how to make it work," Dries said. "We have one large kitchen between the two of our offices, so I think - finally - we might be able to work something out," Caroline Dries, executive producer of "The Vampire Diaries" said during an interview with TVLine.
However, "The Originals" executive producer Michael Narducci said that at the very moment, the merger of the storyline is not that easy, but it may provide a potential common ground for the future.
Interesting things are going to happen in both series, but as for "The Originals," the episode 6 of season 3 is going rather intriguing. International Business Times learned that Klaus Mikaelson will be dealing with Aurora de Martel, who was described as his ex-girlfriend from hell.
Since Klaus is an I-don't-trust-anyone-but-myself kind of guy, he will spend time with Aurora to determine where her loyalties lie. Of course, with the threats coming from the Trinity, the Strix and the prophecy, it is expected that the original hybrid would be vigilant.
The synopsis further teased the discovery of Cami O'Connell's secret room full of dark objects and Rebekah Mikaelson's appearance.
Remember in the "The Originals" season 2 when Rebekah was transferred into a different body? Maisie Richardson-Sellers was cast to play that character, and whether or not she will continue to play the role of Elijah's little sister until the end of season 3 remains to be seen.
The Strix will also be meeting Hayley Marshall-Kenner and Marcel Gerard. As per the report of Christian Post, both will be learning some information about their families that would shock them.
Talking about Hayley, it has been reported that Elijah's relationship with her would be explored in "The Originals" season 3. She will also be placed complicated situation, and that is choosing between her wolf husband Jackson Kenner and the biological family of her daughter.
Meanwhile, the young but powerful with Divina Claire still remembers the reason why she accepted the role as Regent. Narducci reportedly teased that there were people who wanted her to be part of their team.
"Beautiful Mistake," episode 6 of "The Originals" season 3, airs tonight on The CW.
