"Grimm" celebrated its milestone of 100th episode in Portland last Tuesday.
"Grimm" posted on its Twitter account a photo of the cast led by David Giuntoli (Det. Nick Burkhardt), Silas Weir Mitchell (Monroe), Reggie Lee (Sgt. Wu), Russel Hornsby (Lt. Hank Griffin), Bree Turner (Rosalee Calvert), Claire Coffee (Adalind Schade) and Sasha Roiz (Capt. Renard). Intriguingly, Bitsie Tulloch (Juliette Silverton) was also present which made fans wonder if her role is truly not dead.
Oregon dignitaries led by Gov. Kate Brown, legislators, Portland City Commissioner Nick Fish, Portland Police Sgt. Pete Simpson, as well as NBC producers and executives, the cast and crew of "Grimm," were present to mark the 100th episode currently filming in Portland. The NBC show is now in its Season 5.
NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt remarked that not a lot of show reaches its 100th episode. He also praised everyone involved with "Grimm" and added that the show "doesn't look like any other show on television, and that's what makes it special."
Gov. Brown also thanked Greenblatt for agreeing to have "Grimm" filmed in Portland. She said his choice was a "very brilliant decision" since it has helped the Oregon TV and film industry and has also allowed for a 70 percent increase in employment.
Lead star David Giuntoli said, "From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Portland."
To backtrack a little bit for those who are not so familiar with the plot line of "Grimm," Oregon Live revealed that the well-loved TV series tells the story of a Portland Police homicide detective, Nick Burkhardt, who can see past the surface of ordinary-looking individuals that are actually supernatural creatures.
In related news, David Giuntoli was asked about a comment he made in another interview regarding a character in "Grimm" Season 5 who will die. The actor said he should not talk about that anymore, but he spilled that not one of the characters in the show is "safe."
And speaking of a "Grimm" character who died in the show, fans were hopeful that Bitsie Tulloch's Juliette, Nick's girlfriend, was probably not dead since she was on hand at the 100th episode celebration. The actress, however, said that Season 4 was the last for Juliette.
In the meantime, "Grimm" Season 5 Episode 3 will see Rosalee gets taken captive by a group of orphaned children in desperate need for a mother figure. Nick, Monroe and Hank has to find her before something terribly wrong happens, as per TV Guide.
