Miley Cyrus has many fans. However one may have gone a tad bit too far. An intruder was arrested at Miley Cyrus’ home last month and convicted with trespassing. He was found scissors in hand, in the garden of the renowned celebrity.
September 7, 2012, Jason Luis Rivera climbed over the tall fence of the singer’s house and gained access to her property. TMZ recalls that the police were called from a 911 phone call and Rivera was convicted of trespassing and resisting arrest.
Rivera is now facing up to 18 months in jail. He was charged with two dismeanour counts of trespass and resisting arrest and he must now keep his distance from Miley Cyrus by 500 yards.
Luckily for Miley, she was not home when Rivera, who claims to be the singer’s “friend”, trespassed onto her space. She missed the drama of the LAPD officers approaching her Studio City House, exclaiming for him to “step out the gate, step out the gate.”
Initially Rivera did not comply and one of the officers threatened to use a taser on him. Rivera had a pink heart wrapped around his neck. Apparently the police were not conviced Rivera was just a “friend” of the young 19 year old singer.
