Prince Harry is reportedly returning to South Africa for Thanksgiving. But even though he would be hanging out with the kids in Africa, there are rumors claiming that the 31-year-old brother-in-law of Duchess Kate Middleton is traveling to Africa in pursuit for love. And as his visit sparks speculations of reignited romance with Chelsy Davey, some royal insiders are rooting for a royal engagement announcement for Christmas.
Following his three-month-long "dream job" experiences with conservation efforts in Namibia in August, Prince Harry is preparing for a tour of Lesotho and South Africa on Nov. 26. According to People, Prince William's younger brother will first visit the tiny African kingdom of Lesotho for the opening of a new center for his charity, Sentebale, an organization that aims to meet the needs of children mostly living with HIV/AIDS.
The organization was founded by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in memory of their late mothers, Princess Diana and Queen 'Mamohato Bereng Seeiso.
Since Prince Harry is reportedly going back to South Africa, the trip has triggered whispers that the prince will be reigniting romance with Chelsy Davey, his Zimbabwe-born ex-girlfriend whom he dated from 2004 until 2011. Celeb Dirty Laundry even revealed that Kate Middleton has been playing matchmaker for the ex-couple after the Duchess got very close with Davey when dating the royal brothers.
It seems that the Duchess of Cambridge's persistence in meddling with Prince Harry's dating life is paying off. And as he further boost his royal commitment to charitable organizations, does this mean that the prince is willing to ditch his eligible bachelor title to settle down and start a family? Can Chelsy Davey handle the pressures of living the royal life?
It has been no secret that Kate Middleton is desperate for Prince Harry to get married. And a royal engagement announcement and royal wedding would most likely take some of the pressures off the Duchess even just for a while. But Queen Elizabeth II still need to approve Harry's choice for a wife. And royal insiders said the Queen is not the only royal who seemed to like Davey but also Prince Charles, Camilla Parker-Bowles, Kate and Prince Harry.
Meanwhile, aside from opening the 'Mamohato Children's Centre in Lesotho, Prince Harry will also play in a charity polo in Cape Town, South Africa to raise funds for the charity. He is also set to kick off a four-day of the country to carry out a program of engagements on behalf of Her Majesty's government. While in Cape Town, he will see Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu.
In addition, Prince Harry will also visit Kruger National Park and as for his final tour, he will be in Johannesburg to meet Nelson Mandela's widow, Grace Machel, 70.
In other news, Prince Harry recently attended David Beckham's UNICEF Match for Children where he met the football superstar's children - 13-year-old Romeo, 10-year-old Cruz and David's 4-year-old daughter, Harper. And while Romeo and Cruz appeared in awe after Harry greeted them as they stood on the sidelines at Old Trafford, Harry's charm failed to impress Harper as she was seen yawning after the meeting, Daily Mail noted.
