Dunkin' Donuts continues to expand its mouthwatering goodness desserts to St. Louis, where former NFL players will be the newest franchisees. Plus, loyal customers are in for a treat with the coffee-and-donut chain's upcoming holiday promos.
Dunkin' Donuts announced Monday that it intends to put up 14 new restaurants over the "next several years," alongside its franchise concession with Berliner III LLC, spearheaded by former NFL athletes Zach Wiegert and Kris Brown.
Kris Brown and Zach Wiegert first inked a franchise deal with Dunkin' Donuts in 2011. They already have restaurants in north Kansas City and one in the Omaha area. This time, both former NFL stars teamed up with Omaha realtor David Scott to establish Berliner's third market, including Kansas City's two new locations.
Brown said, “We are excited to expand the brand’s presence throughout St. Louis and Kansas City and play an important role in the daily lives of people who live, work and visit here.”
St. Louis Business Journal reported Dunkin' Donuts' requirements for franchisees includes having a net worth of $500,000 and a minimum of $250,000 in liquid assets.
Meanwhile, as the holidays draw near, Scott Hudler, Dunkin' Donuts Vice President for Global Consumer Engagement said, "The holidays are the perfect time to say thank you to our loyal customers who make Dunkin' Donuts a part of their daily lives."
Thus, Dunkin' Donuts launched its special promotions to its most loyal patrons. Furthermore, in a report by PR Newswire, Dunkin' Donuts introduced its first-ever "National Afternoon Latte and Macchiato Break," from 2 p.m. up to 6 p.m. which began Monday, Nov. 30 until Dec. 27. All customers can enjoy an iced or hot medium Macchiato or Latte for the price of $1.99 at any participating Dunkin' Donuts outlet nationwide.
Guests utilizing the Dunkin' Mobile® App at the said promo dates will also be eligible to receive their choice muffin for only 99 cents which can be claimed at any time of the day.
In other news, Dunkin' Donuts delivery service, DoorDash started dropping off donuts at customers' doorsteps in Chicago. Delivery starts around 7 a.m. until 10 p.m., as per Chicagoist.
