"Just Cause 3" is one of the latest games that arrived on the PC right now, but it's currently suffering from a significant amount of technical problems.
Many players are asking whether an update or bug fixes will be immediately available, but according to game developer Avalanche, an update will come — but it will take a while.
The tech problems is so significant that critics and players have reported that it's getting in the way for them to truly enjoy the game.
According to ArsTechnica, developers in the Avalanche Studious and publisher Square Enix, they have heard those concerns loud and clear but are asking the fans for more time to roll out a patch to fix the number of problems encountered in the game.
According to iDigital Trends, the developers responded to these concerns in a recent post on the game's Steam info page and said, "We know that some of you are encountering some technical issues — we're looking into them all and we're fully committed to providing you the best possible experience,"
"We know you're going to want specific information on when a patch will land and what will be fixed-we would love to give you that information, and we will as soon as we have it. But right now, a little over one day since we launched, we have huge numbers of players in our enormous game world and we're monitoring all the data coming in."
The devs added, "We need a little bit of time to recreate some of these issues and build fixes. Rest assured though-we are fully committed to making Just Cause 3 as awesome as possible. We already know loads of people are having a blast with the game but we'll do all we can to make sure everyone is laughing and smiling as they play."
Clearly, Avalanche and Square Enix want their players to bear with the problems for now as they are trying to fix the problems from their end.
And it seems, the problems in the game are hindering its true potential because in a review by ABC News, "Just Cause 3" was described as "muddled."
Despite the similarities with successful video game titles such as "Dragon Age: Inquisition" and "Far Cry 4," the critic who reviewed the game said that it's all mayhem and no substance.
However, the game's land and scenery were praised and are a joy to explore. Ultimately the game's glitches surfaced and issues about frame-rate and loading screens just killed the game's momentum.
For now, enjoy the game and unleash Pandemonium by getting infinite health and infinite ammo via "Cheat Engine" available for the PC.
"Just Cause 3" was released Dec. 1 and is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC.
