"Black Desert Online" developer Daum Games announced last month that it's launching the first Western beta for the game today.
As reported by WCCF Tech, the video game company confirmed in a press release that apart from the beta launch, "Black Desert Online" will also receive the new Tamer class.
In a related report by Niche Gamer, you also have the freedom to choose from the Warriors, Sorceress, Berserker, Ranger and Wizard classes during the beta.
In addition, the Calpheon Region, a rural area in the game for the most part, will also be featured in the upcoming beta.
Daum Games discussed the Tamer class and said, "With the support of Heilang, the divine beast, the Tamer can perform ruthless combination attacks or take enemies down on their own, by borrowing divine forces,"
It added, "Though innocent at heart, the Tamer is able to channel their passion into a powerful fury that will sweep past any obstacle."
There is also a detailed log of improvements made from the first alpha test held in late October, largely due to user feedback.
Among them are improved character customizations, which include 30 new skin tones, 40 new hair colors, new beards and a bald option for male characters.
Improved balance of character class and improved weather cycles, including darker and occasionally stormy nights and lanterns that can be purchased from NPCs to help players in the dark.
In addition, there is also newly enabled features such as the rrequested walking mode, adjustment of HP potions to improve PvP challenges, fully localized English text and a level cap set to 50.99 percent with PvP unlocked at level 30.
Sadly, the game will employ a buy-to-play business model, but you can pre-order the game ahead of its official planned release on the first quarter of 2016.
One of the perks will be guaranteed access to the "Black Desert Online" beta events.
Destructoid reported that the game have been making waves across gamers for quite a while, as it is already in closed beta in Korea and Russia.
And today, "Black Desert Online" beta will be finally released in the U.S., fully translated and tweaked to accommodate Western gamers.
In addition, if you have pre-purchased the game's "Conqueror" package, you have guaranteed access to the test when it begins, but for those who did not, applications are posted on the game's official website, which closed last Dec. 9.
