"Cut the Rope: Magic" arrived just in time for the Holiday season, as ZeptoLab announced the newest installment for its hit mobile game.
As reported by Social Times, the puzzle game takes players into a magical spell bool and challenges them to help the game's adorable character, Om Nom, to retrieve his stolen candy from an evil spider wizard.
In each of the levels of the game, players encounter different challenges to lead a piece of candy to Om Nom by cutting strings, using air pumps and more to move the candy around your smartphone or tablet's screen.
ZeptoLab CEO Misha Lyalin said in a statement, "The Cut the Rope series is now more than five years old-almost ancient in mobile gaming years. When we started in 2010, we had no idea we'd have such a long story and that Om Nom would become so popular across the world."
"Today, a little over five years after the first game launched, we continue to bring new ideas to the market to create something that is truly new and magical, like Cut the Rope: Magic."
In keeping with the game's magical theme, players can also transform Nom into five different forms to complete different levels.
As an example, players can turn him into a bird, which will send him into the air and may allow users to collect a star or catch the candy. And as the players progress, they will be able to turn him into a baby, fish, mouse and spirit, with each of the transformation having different set of abilities.
Players can also advance through levels by collecting the piece of candy in each stage, in addition to collecting the three stars in each stage to earn rewards like premium Magic Crystals. Moreover, players are also required to collect number of stars to unlock these levels instantly.
Also, whimps can spend real money on level solutions, which will guide them through the step-by-step process of completing a chosen stage.
Android Guys reported that the game will feature more than 100 magic-themed levels, including challenging boss levels across a colorful world.
Simply put, the game is described as a fresh take on the "Cut the Rope's" classic physics-puzzle game.
App Advice notes that "Cut the Rope: Magic" is compatible with the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and will cost 99 cents in the Apple App Store, with additional in-app purchases.
So if you're a fan of the original game, this new magical themed version is definitely a must have.
