HTC already unveiled the One A9, and now, it also unveiled the HTC One X9.
With lots of rumors and leaks during the last couple of weeks, it's only a matter of time until the Taiwanese giant officially releases information about the handset and now it did.
As reported by GSM Arena, the design of the One X9 is consistent with the rumors and it really does have front-facing speakers, capacitive Android buttons and has a metal constructions. Furthermore, the device will have the thickness and weight of 7.99 mm and 174 g, respectively.
On the right side of the phone, you will find the SIM card slot, as well as the power button and volume rocker, while the 3.5mm headset jack is at the top, with the USB connector on the bottom.
CNET added that the upcoming One X9 will also sport a 5.5-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080 pixels. As for the rear camera, it will have 13 megapixels, with the front-facing UltraPixel camera to feature 4 pixels.
The handset will be powered by a MediaTek-made processor Helio X10 that will have eight cores. Moreover, buyers have two options regarding the internal storage capacity and the RAM of the One X9 - the 16GB version with 2GB of RAM and the 32GB version with 3GB of RAM, with both having the option to expand via microSD.
Because this is HTC, the phone will also have the company's signature features such as the BoomSound speakers and apparently, it will have 3,000 mAh battery.
In a similar report by the International Business Times, the HTC One X9 is expected to come in two color options -- Silver and Gray.
The unit will run all major connectivity options like Bluetooth, USB, GPS, GSM, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, 4G-LTE FDD and WCDMA.
Lastly, the Taiwanese tech giant also released a tagline "What's Next After A9" so there's a strong possibility that it's pertaining to the One X9.
It's worth noting that the HTC One A9 is a hit among holiday shoppers this year as the handset comes with cutting-edge specs, a sleek and elegant design, in addition to affordable pricing compared to its nearest competitors, while also running the Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
And with the A9 becoming a hit, the company can now have a fairly good estimate whether the X9 will also experience the same.
Again as noted, despite the all-but-confirmed specs, these are still "leaked" information so it's better to take this with a grain of salt.
