Miranda Lambert was not alone during the New Year. She was safe and warm in the arms of Anderson East.
What a great way to start 2016!
On Friday, the 32 year old popular country star Instagrammed a photo of herself and East both cuddling.
The online social media post, under Lambert's Instagram handle @mirandalambert, was captioned:
The snuggle is real.
Apparently, the Nashville star has an edge for puns.
The caption in her adorable Instagram post solidifies that the duo's current relationship status is set to "Dating".
Lambert, who has recently separated with The Voice judge and country star Blake Shelton in July 2015, revealed to Cosmopolitan that she's still figuring things out especially after her four years of marriage with country star Shelton.
I'm still processing everything and figuring out where to go and what happened.
Lambert has already made it known to the world that she's in a relationship with East while Shelton is currently dating Gwen Stefani since last year. The couple has been spotted taking a California winery tour on Monday.
The 27 year old Nashville musician, East (whose real name is Michael Cameron Anderson), is currently on tour for his 2015 released album, titled Delilah. East was originally from Alabama before moving to Music City.
Though the new love birds have only been dating for a short period, Lambert did reveal under her Cosmopolitan interview that getting married right now is not in her plans. She was married to Shelton for 4 years and have been together for 10 years. Though divorced, Shelton and Lambert remain friends adding that she had a great relationship with Shelton.
Miranda Lambert currently holds five number one albums with a Grammy on her shelf. In her early years, she started as a contest singer on a TV competition.
