Kesha Battles Rape Case; Dr. Luke Empathizes With Singer's Supporters But Claims He Did Not Abuse Her

Recently, Kesha went to court to request to be separated from Dr. Luke's contract amidst claims that she has been sexually abused.

However, Dr. Luke denies claims of any sexual relationship with Kesha. TMZ reported that the producer has, for the first time, spoken out about the singer's allegations.

"I didn't rape Kesha and I have never had sex with her," Dr. Luke blasted. He went on to say that he and the pop star were friends for many years and that he treated her like his own sister. He also publicly addressed celebrities coming to Kesha's defense such as Taylor Swift donating $250,000 as a form of financial aid.

Unlike his denial against Kesha's rape claims, he instead empathized with these celebrities. "I understand why people without all the information are speaking out," says Dr. Luke. He further stated that he understood their compassion for Kesha.

However, his rant didn't stop there. He got down and dirty with Kesha's attorney saying that he is not the right representative for the singer. Mark Geragos, Kesha's attorney, also represents Scott Peterson and Chris Brown. He lambasted Geragos claiming that he doesn't know about women's rights by representing Peterson and Brown.

Dr. Luke also addressed TMZ's post about Kesha's testimony that stated he drugged her. He denied these claims and further stated that he never had an "intimate relationship" with the singer. TMZ's post showed an obtained deposition from 2011 that clearly acknowledged that Kesha never had any sort of intimate relationship with Luke.

Her recent court battle did not win her freedom from Luke's contract, but her stand against sexual abuse still remains.
