'Star Wars Battlefront' Debuts New Droid GONK For New Mission - Survival in the Ice Caves

The "Star Wars Battlefront" free monthly update this February has high-octane content, according to the gamers of the Disney movie franchise. The update satisfies many fancied wish-lists, gamer's claimed, including exciting range of new content, besides rendering it in film grain.

Additional functionality include a new map, new mission, turning point playlist updates - Jundland Wastes, Forest of Endor, new Attract Mode rewards and plenty more.

First, the film grain feature update. Gamers can slide the Film Grain option in the Video menu settings and create a layer atop the usual graphics rendering. Sound settings too can be tweaked now, with the "Turning-off" function ensure silence everywhere in the game.

Along with the content come a load of weaponry and Star Card Updates. The primary weapons are 10% more powerful in damaging air vehicles. While the Bowcaster explosion damage is multiplied 15 times, though the radius of explosion is lowered by 0.5m. Per projectile is also improved with a direct hit between 20 and 40 on full charge. Lock time is lowered from 1.5s to 1.2s.

Vehicles too are tweaked to larger size with A-Wing now taking damages full on when it dashes with AT-ST, even with Shield active. Slave I, AT-ST and T-47 gets an upgrade.

The free update includes a host of multiplayer Game Mode Changes. Walker Assault is lot cleaner with power issues fixed. It also gets an improved AT-AT health update across the different turning points. Droid Run corrections, improved spawn zones for the Dune Sea Exchange.

But the most exciting updates are the mission and hero changes. Heroes are no longer animated states of stupefaction, while Luke Skywalker Saber gets a rush of updates. The damage to heroes with sabre is powered up to 8% now. The hit radius from the lightsaber swing is now 0.25m now. The free update includes miscellaneous bug fixes as well.
