"Modern Family" star Ariel Winter recently had breast reduction surgery. Now, the actress opens up about how having smaller breasts changed her life through her open essay.
While most women would like to have bigger breasts and some men often objectify women for having this kind of physical characteristic, Ariel Winter would rather have a normal sized breasts.
Winter may be known for being the smart middle child on "Modern Family," but it is no secret that the star had been blessed with big breasts in her early teens. However, the actress has had difficulties with this physical attribute.
She recently shared her feeling by writing an essay titled "Breast Reduction Surgery Changed My Life." The actress talked about how suddenly her life changed when she started sporting F-sized cups.
"I was 13, 14 years old, and I looked 19. Suddenly, people didn't want to talk about my job-they just wanted to talk about my cleavage," wrote Winter. Her essay also detailed her experiences about how the world changed around her because of her chest because she could not enjoy the simplest things in life like shopping. Everything she wore has suddenly looked "too sexy" for the actress. Her feeling unhappy and uncomfortable prompted her to push through with decision to have breast reduction surgery done.
After getting her breasts reduced, she explained that although she had received a lot of criticism from people she did not regret the decision because she felt pyschologically positive.
