"The Bachelor" 2016 winner may not be who you think because in a sudden twist of fate Ben Higgins broke tradition and told two women that he loved them. Can he have two women in his life?
For 20 years, "The Bachelor" has always ended with a couple. The Bachelor himself would be telling the woman he chose (to be with for the rest of his life, hopefully) those three fateful words they have been dying to hear - "I love you,"
But what if "The Bachelor" 2016 winner became plural?
Ben Higgins traveled to Jamaica for the show's fantasy suite dates and confessed that the place is so beautiful that he can easily fall in love with the area. "I think Jamaica could be a really great place to fall in love," said Higgins.
What the viewers didn't know that he just didn't fall in love with the place, he also fell in love with two women.
Laura, Jojo and Caila were the last three women on his list but he still had to narrow it down to one.
Ben recently told Caila that his relationship with her was the deepest he's ever had but when Caila said "I love you," sadly he didn't say it back. With Lauren B. Though, Ben explained to Lauren that she's too good for him. Lauren felt the same way by whispering those "three words" and the whole world shook when Ben said it back. Viewers were prepared to see Jojo crash and burn during her fantasy date with Ben and they readied the cushion when she said "I love you" - preparing her fall when he doesn't say it back. Lo and behold, Ben said "Jojo, I love you too."
Knowing that he may have broken "The Bachelor" protocol, the man of the hour admits that he's shock and scared because his heart is split in two directions and Ben was pretty surprised as well.
"After telling two women that I'm in love with them, I'm in a state of shock because my heart's leading me in two directions," he said. "I'm scared because I don't know what I'm going to do."
Looks like Ben has a lot of thinking (and feeling) to do.
