The Olsens Twins are not joining "Fuller House." Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, the original twins from the "Full House" cast are not slated to join the much-awated spin off because they've reportedly moved on.
"Fuller House" was successfully launched and it received a green light for season 2. Fans are now asking if the Olsen Twins are joining the second season of the new series.
The first season of the spin-off has been a success and John Stamos has promised "Full House" fans that the Olsen Twins will be joining the new family which makes fans dream of the Tanner Family being reunited. It turns out that Mary Kate and Olsen decided to drop the chance to join "Fuller House" season 2.
Why did the Olsen Twins decide to not join "Full House?" Mary Kate and Ashley have expressed that they're in a different place right now and playing Michelle again doesn't fit well with their plans. They haven't acted in a long time and have been focused on their fashion careers. During the season, the Tanner family revealed that Michelle is busy working in New York (the scripted apple doesn't fall far from the real life tree).
Fans are still hoping that Michelle will come back to visit the new addition to the Tanner family and the show creator shares the same sentiment.
"That was a giant bummer, but their participation was never a precondition for doing that show," creator Jeff Franklin told Vulture. Frankling hopes that they'd come back to make at least one episode if they couldn't make it as regulars. Or maybe make a phone call?
Do you think the Olsen Twins are really going to show up in "Fuller House?"
