As rumors about the impending departure of Kody Brown's three wives, does it mean that "Sister Wives" season 7 is getting cancelled? Well, the upcoming season depicting the lives of the polygamous clan is still on.
While TLC has been mum about the upcoming premiere of "Sister Wives" season 7, the show has been hounded by numerous rumors about its cast. In fact, there have been reports claiming that Kody Brown's polygamous family is on the verge of falling apart, Ecumenical News noted.
"The idea that the Browns are a polygamist family is laughable at this point," an insider said. "Janelle, Meri and Christine all have one foot out the door."
The rumors actually started after Kody is reportedly concentrating on his relationship with current wife Robyn and their newborn daughter, Ariella. And since the polygamous patriarch is spending more time with his new family, his other wives - Meri, Christine and Janelle - felt abandoned.
"[Kody] really only wants to hang with Robyn," a source said, as per Latin Post. "There's a ton of tension. He's a total bully. It's miserable behind closed doors."
Kody's other wives, however, are not only ditching their marriages but also leaving the show. And as the departure of Kody's other wives looms, he is allegedly looking for a significantly younger bride to be his fifth wife, Christian Today revealed.
Meanwhile, the marital lives of the "Sister Wives" season 7 cast have indeed gotten messier, citing the controversial catfishing scandal involving Meri Brown. Janelle, on the other hand, is ditching her polygamous life to focus on her real estate career.
"Janelle has told the family that she wants to focus full-time on her real estate career," a source told In Touch magazine (via Radar Online).
Janelle Brown has also recently expressed her gratitude to TLC since "Sister Wives" boosted her real estate career. According to Design & Trend, the exposure she's received on the show has helped her make a name for herself in the real estate world.
"It's been a huge asset to have some exposure," she told Las Vegas Review-Journal. "I like being that person that people call and say, 'we didn't know who to call but we trust you.' That's the best compliment you can ever give me."
Aside from Meri and Janelle, Christine is also having some issues towards Kody Brown. Thus, she is also reportedly leaving the show.
So, will there be another Brown wedding in "Sister Wives" season 7? And how will the TLC show continue without the three sister wives?
