The 22-year-old pop star Justin Bieber has raised his glass to the Irish UFC champion Conor McGregor despite his loss against Nate Diaz, Mirror UK reported on Sunday.
Nate Diaz may have shocked the whole world by taking on UFC's featherweight champion, but it seems like he was not the only one "winning" that night. McGregor has one true fan who insisted that he was still the top man following his loss, and it is no other than the "What Do You Mean" singer himself: Justin Bieber.
After the event, Bieber toasted the fallen fighter with what seemed like Irish whiskey and said: "Still to McGregor. To McGregor! He's still the champ. That broke my heart." He also threw a playful, yet unwisely jab at Diaz. Despite the fact that the "Biebs" may seem like an unlikely fight fan, it is no denying that he is an avid fan of the sports world. He never failed to show support to his buddy Floyd Mayweather - and even took a few boxing lessons from him.
Meanwhile, Nate Diaz just delivered a rather brutal warning especially for Bieber himself, Maxim reported. Diaz took to his Instagram account to post an illustration of him made by user @animefighter which shows the UFC champ slapping the pop star and telling him to shut up. The caption said: "Biebers a hater" along with a waving hand "emoji", indicating that he is sending his shout outs to the Billboard Hot 100 killer.
Bieber is currently kicking off the North American leg of his "Purpose" World Tour. Rapper Post Malone, best known for his track "White Iverson", will open for Bieber at 64 concerts through the US and Canada. Apart from him, R&B singer hailing from New York Moxie Raia will also be joining the team throughout the whole ride.
