It's the time of the year again where the world's largest lingerie brand will be thawing winter with its annual bikini parade special on TV called, "Victoria's Secret Swim Special" 2016. Thirteen VS models will flaunt the company's sexy swimwear collection this year.
For the second time, some of the world's most desired Angels will return for the "Victoria's Secret Swim Special" 2016. They will be showing off some of the sexy one and two-piece ensembles with the picturesque beaches of St. Barths in the background.
So, as fans await the hottest and sexiest bikini parade on television this year, here are 5 latest scoops about the upcoming "Victoria's Secret Swim Special" 2016.
1. VS Models, Angels Revealed!
This year's swimsuit special will feature 13 models, Enstarz noted. Headlining the show are Martha Hunt, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, Lais Ribiero, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Vita Sidorkina, Josephine Skriver, Stella Maxwell, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio and Taylor Hill.
2. Location
"Victoria Secret's Swim Special" 2016 was filmed in the beaches of Caribbean Island of Saint-Barthelemy aka St. Barths. According to News Americas, the island is officially a part of France and is a popular winter destination for the rich and famous.
3. Performers
Last year, Victoria's Secret swimwear campaign featured Maroon 5 and Juanes as the guest performers as the Angels invaded the beautiful beaches of Puerto Rico. This 2016, however, the models will be joined by Nick Jones and Demi Lovato, CBS Boston revealed.
In addition, the "Victoria's Secret Swim Special" 2016 will also bring a special exclusive sneak preview of Ariana Grande's latest single, "Dangerous Woman." It will be featured during a scorching segment on Candice Swanepoel.
4. Premiere
The "Victoria's Secret Swim Special" 2016 is set to premiere on Wednesday night, Mar. 9 at 9 p.m. on CBS. It will reportedly air in 190 countries and can be views on the Victoria's Secret website.
