The multiplayer closed beta version for the first-person shooter Doom will be available by the end of the month, specifically from March 31 at 10:00 pm Eastern Time (April 1, 8:30am IST) to April 3, 11:59 pm Eastern Time (April 4, 10:29am IST).
Doom multiplayer closed beta version is restricted, as the name suggests. Meaning to say, only two groups are able to avail of this version: those who purchased select physical retail copies of Wolfenstein: The New Order and those who pre-ordered the game digitally before May 26, 2014.
For those who purchased the Wolfenstein: The New Order, Gadgets NDTV revealed that you are automatically eligible to participate in the Closed Beta version only if you received and redeemed your Doom Beta code. For those who belong in this group, an email from Bethesda with a key code should have been received before the start of the Beta," the FAQ section of the official Doom site reads.
