Pros - Northwestern Mutual has a great education program. They teach their interns and new employees how the business is run - the ins and outs.

Pros - Good starting career; encourage growth in terms of credentials.
Cons - The way the company is structured there is not a lot of room for growth unless you work under a Managing Director or Partner. You are also working more for an individual Advisor rather than the company Northwestern Mutual, so you want to be sure that the advisor has a good reputation and not just NMFN.
