"The beasts are going to be all shapes and sizes!" said an excited David Heyman, producer of the much awaited "Harry Potter" prequel. The prequel will feature computer generated beasts.
While most movies have been using animatronics, according to RadioTimes, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is going digital. "These are extraordinary creatures. I don't know how they could do this practically - as wonderful as animatronics are, you can't get the detailed movement or flexibility that you can with the digital universe," Heyman explained.
It might have been easier for creators to make dinosaurs for "Jurassic World" but Heyman's team has been researching on real animal movements. "We want to make our creatures grounded," Heyman told Total Film. He went on to say that they should look like they could exist, but still have a magical flair.
Author JK Rowling is happy with what the creative team has been doing and Heyman says she has been supporitve by giving inputs when asked. She also took part in casting the lead roles, which makes Eddie Redmayne blessed with Rowling's magic, being the first choice. His character Newt Scamander has better relationships with beasts than humans.
The "Harry Potter" so-called prequel will open in UK Cinemas on Nov. 23, 2016. If you haven't seen the announcement trailer yet, check out the Youtube video below.
