'The Vampire Diaries' Star Nina Dobrev To Replace Emma Roberts In A Fashion Mobile App?

Mobile styling app "Covet Fashion" just announced that "The Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev will be its latest "Covet Celebrity Host", as reported by CBS8.com on Wednesday.

Starting from Mar. 16 up to mid-April, fans and every fashion enthusiast will be able to find out more about Dobrev on a rather more intimate level by styling her avatar using a wide array of choices to rock for her movie premieres, dinner parties and more, that would all be considered as real world fashion challenges offered by the app.

Dobrev is the platform's third host, following the successful two - Emma Roberts and Gabrielle Union, where Covet users have created a combined and astounding count of six million outfits all in all. Unlike other apps that only feature one star or celebrity for their platform for the rest of its existence, the Covet Fashion Celebrity Host Series highlights a different personality each month. What is more unique about this app is that it improves and enhances the connection between a fan and their idol through learning from their personal style.

"I couldn't be more excited to partner with Covet Fashion and engage with my fans on a completely new level. Fashion has always been a big part of my life, both personally and professionally, so it'll be fun to see how Covet's community of users style my avatar for everything from dinners with friends to red carpet appearances during style challenges," Dobrev stated.

Blair Ethington, the SVP, GM of Covet Fashion referred to Dobrev as a strong and beautiful woman. "Our users have truly enjoyed their experiences with Gabrielle and Emma, so we are thrilled to introduce yet another strong and beautiful woman to our Covet Fashion Celebrity Host Series. We are looking forward to providing our community of users the opportunity to engage with Nina's chic style and fun personality through our interactive style challenges."
