The latest news for Harry Styles this 2016 revealed that the One Directioner gave a pep talk to Fifth Harmony. The girl band shared how the singer encouraged them.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Dinah Jane admitted that Harry Styles was the one who urged her,
Camila Cabello, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke and Normani Kordei to stick with each other no matter what. Fifth Harmony was also formed on "The X Factor," similar to One Direction.
"I remember we were in rehearsals and he came up to us and told us as a group, 'All five of you should be on the same page and the closest things to each other because around all five of you there are gonna be people that are gonna come and try to snatch you, people are gonna try to break you guys apart," Jane shared. "So, as long as you five are your best friends, that's the most important.'"
The publication noted that, around this time last year, One Direction lost one of its members, Zayn Malik. A few months later, the band announced that they will be on hiatus this year.
There were speculations that the One Direction hiatus may become permanent. YHM reported that Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson spoke out against the rumored split.
"Ok so lots of rumours going round [sic]," Niall Horan tweeted. "We are not splitting up, but we will be taking a well earned break at some point next year."
"Your support is truly indescribable," Louis Tomlinson tweeted. "It's just a break :) we're not going anywhere!!"
According to HollywoodLife.com, Harry Styles' advice to Fifth Harmony appeared a bit bitter. The website speculated that this could have had something to do with Zayn's departure from the band. The former One Directioner has also done his fair share of dissing his former bandmates.
"More than anything, the song is about the way the fans and everyone have created this massive thing - One Direction - over the past five years," Payne previously told Entertainment Weekly. "Out of ['History'] comes a little bit of closure for this chapter of One Direction."
