Speculations have been rife about the release of "Red Dead Redemption 2." According to latest reports, it looks like the follow-up Rockstar game has already been given the green light.
In a report from Cinema Blend, the sequel is reportedly good as confirmed. However, developers have yet to guarantee or deny the rumors circulating on the internet. The publication also teased that the second installment should be on gamers' watchlist as it will be bigger than "GTA V."
"Anyway, the sequel to Red Dead Redemption will supposedly be a heck of a lot bigger than GTA V and it will also borrow from the original Red Dead Revolver where players took on the roles of multiple characters throughout the main campaign," the outlet claimed.
Meanwhile, there have been talks about a possible 2017 release date and E3 2016 sneak peek for the new title. As BGR noted, "Fraghero received an email from a reader this week claiming that Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West has been in development at Rockstar Games for over four years and will be officially unveiled at E3 2016 in June."
The source also claimed that there will be more than one playable character in "Red Dead Redemption 2," and hinted that a 2017 launch will be highly likely. Apart from the rumored 2017 release, there are also talks about a HD remake of the original title which is slated for a 2016 release.
