Gwyneth Paltrow has shared the recipe for her Goop smoothie. One catch, though, is that the ingredients amount to more than $223.
Mail Online reported that the "Iron Man" star has revealed the ingredients included in her morning smoothie. The total cost amounts to more than $223.
Gwyneth Paltrow posted the recipe on her Goop lifestyle website. The smoothie includes normal ingredients such as milk, almond butter, Himalayan sea salt and coconut oil.
However, it also needs a teaspoon of maca, ashwagandha, ho shou wu and cordyceps. In addition, a teaspoon of your "moondust of choice" such as Action Dust (for soothing overworked muscles), Beauty Dust (for a glowing complexion and healthy hair) and Brain Dust (for mental alertness), among others.
The publication noted that vanilla mushroom powder costs about $35 a jar while ashwagandha is priced at $17 a jar. Moon Dust vary in price ranging from $55-$65 per two-ounce pot.
Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop morning smoothie is featured in her 2016 detox plan. It is included in the Day 2 to 5 meal plan.
"You have to buzz it on high, so it [the coconut oil] really kind of melts into it; otherwise, you get little bits of cold coconut oil," Paltrow told Refinery29. "And by the way, this is an extremely basic version - you can put in bananas or berries. Sometimes I put in half of a sweet potato and make like a little pumpkin pie smoothie. And that's really it."
Earlier this month, Gwyneth Paltrow launched her Goop skincare line. It was created in partnership with Juice Beauty according to Hello Magazine. It features six all-natural and organic products such as eye creams and face masks.
"We built on [Juice Beauty's] foundation in safety to create something that didn't exist that I had always been looking for: A line of truly luxurious and effective skincare - products that take organic to the next level," she stated. "We literally did not rest until we had a set of six products that are, quite simply, perfect."
