If you're looking to get hired, Wawa is looking for someone like you and 4,999 other people to fill their 700 stores.
According to a report from TheCourierPost, Wawa is looking to hire 5,000 employees. Wawa is a known chain of stores in the Mid-Atlantic states. It currently has over 600 stores and more than 22,000 employees on the payroll. Now, Wawa wants to add more to their roster. The convenience store chain is adding 5,000 full time and part time jobs within the next three months.
The addition of the 5,000 Wawa employees will be posted throughout parts of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Florida.
Dave Filano, Wawa Talent Acquisition Manager says, "At Wawa, we exist to fulfill lives every day and part of this commitment means providing fulfilling job opportunities that can lead to fulfilling careers."
Filano explains that they need 5,000 slots filled to join the work-force during the busy summer season. The company is also open to employees who are interested in the start of a fulfilling career at Wawa.
As part of the hiring campaign, every Wawa store will have job opportunities, and in addition, select Wawa stores will also showcase open houses throughout March and April 2016. Potential employees can interact and get interviewed by Wawa. The company boasts of their professional culture, career opportunities and the important role the company plays in the local community.
