Google / Alphabet Is The Best Company To Work For, Great Employee Benefits And Work Environment

For the seventh time in 10 years, Google - now known as Alphabet - is named as the best place to work for, according to Fortune.

Every year, Fortune partners with "Great Place To Work" in order to find out the top 100 best companies to work for in the corporate America world. The survey is based on the "Trust Index Employee" - where a sample pool from the company's own staff members participate. It also considers the responses based on the "Culture Audit" which dives deeper into the benefits and compensation packages of the company, as well as the hiring practices, internal communications, training programs, awards and recognition programs, and culture or diversity efforts.

Google, has been on the list for ten years. Now, holding the record #1 multiple times out of 100 companies. Their spot has been held thanks to the talented employees and highly compensated staff. In order to make their employees happy, the company has made sure there are added perks to an already outrageous array of freebies.

To understand what makes Googlers happy, consider the perks.

The Advertising and Marketing company has amassed about $66 Billion in revenue last year. The company pays 100% of health care costs and offers health insurance to boot. It also offers on site childcare, fitness centers, on site medical facilities, tuition reimbursements, unlimited sick leaves and maximum paid time offs. The company is as diverse as any organization with the work culture focusing on a fun and comfortable environment, focusing on making sure the talented minds are well "fed." Other freebies include concerts and celebrity show-ups, even. These are but some of the benefits and perks associated with the company.

One Google employee said that "The company culture truly makes workers feel they're valued and respected as a human being, not as a cog in a machine. The perks are phenomenal. From three prepared organic meals a day to unlimited snacks, artisan coffee and tea to free personal-fitness classes, health clinics, on-site oil changes, haircuts, spa truck, bike-repair truck, nap pods, free on-site laundry rooms, and subsidized wash and fold. The list is endless."
