Until this day we still feel the impact."

Famous singer Selena Gomez was named after the superstar. "She was a big deal to my family and growing up from the get-go, I knew who she was and who I was named after," explains Gomez.
But it wasn't just her music that helped inspire artists. Selena's beauty also played a role in the industry.
Fergie revealed that she thought Selena had the most beautiful lips. "I over-line my lips a bit-I completely admit it. I really like the look," says Fergie. Lady Gaga was inspired by Selena's bustier and she took on that look in her early tours.
