It's official. The rumored H&M fashion store in Georgetown has officially lifted their curtains and dressed up their windows at 3245 M St. NW.
The global fashion brand boasts of its unique store locations but with recognizable H&M interiors. According to Biz Journals, the D.C. location in Georgetown occupies a 10,000 square feet area with two levels facing local seafood and Mexican restaurants.
If you're looking to get hired by H&M, the company's Career pages encourages applicants to do the following:
1. Do your research - If you're going to start a career with H&M, might as well visit their official website.
2. H&M wants you to read the job descriptions carefully. See if your resume and cover letter fits for the position. A one page cover letter is enough for them and they want to know why you're a great fit for the position.
3. Once you've submitted your application online, an email confirmation will notify you immediately. The H&M team will look at your application and expect to hear from them in about 2 weeks by email or phone.
4. Want to know what they're likely going to ask? They most likely will ask why they should hire you, why you want to work for H&M and what's your future going to be like with the company.
5. Remember to be relaxed and be yourself.
6. Make sure to dress to impress. The brand doesn't expect a three-piece suit but would most likely look at how fashionable you are.
