Kanye West did it again. He placed Ellen DeGeneres in an awkward spot after he went on a rant about clothes, Leonardo DiCaprio, Picasso and Barack Obama.
Though it's not a strange thing to see Kanye go on a full monologue whenever he gets the chance. However, when he guested on Ellen, he occupied a whole six minutes.
Ellen DeGeneres is one of the world's most loved television daytime talk show hosts and she's known to invite guests into some funny and cheery discussions. But when Kanye West came on the show, she was almost speechless. The Telegraph has it that Kanye started out cool and collected when he came out but when Ellen asked if Kanye had any regrets over his social media tweets? She could have regretted asking it, in the end. Kanye West went on a full blown rant over being an entrepreneur and how he asked Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg for $53 million.
But that's not all. He also talked about Michael Jackson not being recognized because he was considered to be urban. He continued on about his fashion line and that he also talked about it with President Barack Obama and Leonardo DiCaprio. "It's funny because I'll sit there with Obama and Leo's talking about the environment and I'm talking about clothes. And everyone looks at me like that's not an important issue or something." While he continued to rant, you can see Ellen trying to halt his conversation flow. Most likely, the host was trying to cut to commercial. But he still went on, saying that he intended to be "...literally be Michael Jackson of apparel in order to break open the doors for everybody after I'm gone."
When Kanye West finished, he looked to Ellen to apologize for "the realness", to which DeGeneres could only joke, "It's not daytime television any more."
