New details on the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" starters, legendaries and Pokedex have been revealed. The 3DS game is slated for release this November.
Gear Nuke reported that there are three new "Pokémon Sun and Moon" starters. Rowlet grass/flying, Litten fire/dark and Popplio water/lighting have only been seen at their beginner forms.
A leaked scan, however, has provided some clue on how these "Pokémon Sun and Moon" starters will look when they evolve. There have been previous leaks before and these types of claims should be taken with a grain of salt.
Nintendo has confirmed that more details on the upcoming mainline Pokémon game will be revealed at E3 2016. The event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Jun. 14 to 16.
According to CNET, The Pokémon Company has also revealed the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" legendaries. Solgaleo and Lunala are said to play a "crucial role" in the story according to the company.
Solgaleo has a signature move named Sunsteel Strike. This allows it to charge at an opponent with the massive force of a meteor.
Lunala, on the other hand, has its signature move called Moongeist Beam attack. This allows it to shoot out an "ominous beam of light."
The "Pokémon Sun and Moon" legendaries will be in the Alola region, where the game is set. Professor Kukui, a "mysterious girl" named Lillie and a young boy named Hau are the characters that will help the game's hero.
The game will have QR scanner functionality in order to register Pokémon and discover new ones. "Pokémon Sun and Moon" will be featured in Nintendo's Treehouse Live event at E3 2016.
Moreover, the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" Pokedex has been revealed to be a Pokémon itself. Eurogamer noted that the Pokedex will be inhabited with a new breed of Rotom, the Pokémon that can be found in human-made electrical items.
The "Pokémon Sun and Moon" Pokedex will not have a "chatty personality." It also has a new function that allows players to ask where to go next.
