The second round of invites for the "Pokémon GO" beta U.S. has been sent out. The news was shared on social media.
"A second round of the U.S. 'Pokémon GO' Field Test invite were sent today," Pokémon Global News tweeted. "Verify your emails."
Tech News Today reported that the "Pokémon GO" beta U.S. invites have already been sent. If you were one of those who signed up early last month, you may be one of the lucky few to test the highly-anticipated augmented reality game.
Those who want to sign up for the "Pokémon GO" beta U.S. can go to the game's official website. Niantic also provides updates through its blog.
Meanwhile, according to Neurogadget, some "Pokémon GO" beta testers have leaked information about the game online. This is even though they agreed to non-disclosure when they were chosen.
Apparently, the augmented reality game will include all 150 original Pokémon. There will also be portals, similar to Niantic's first game "Ingress," which are called Pokestops.
Moreover, it was said that catching Pokémon will be different in "GO." Players will need to throw their Pokeballs in different ways but they can be deflected by wild Pokémon.
The Pokeball will also indicate the chances of whether you can catch the Pokémon or not. Players can get an evolution crystal which can help their Pokémon evolve.
Pokémon Eggs are also available. Creatures born from eggs are expected to be more powerful than most wild Pokémon.
Nintendo Life noted that Niantic has removed users who have been discovered to be leaking information about "Pokémon GO." It is understandable since beta testers actually agreed to keep quiet about the game's development.
The game is expected to be featured in Nintendo's Treehouse event at E3 2016 along with "Pokémon Sun and Moon." Hopefully, news on the "Pokémon GO" release date will be announced by then as well.
