Fans saw Jamie Lannister saying he'll throw the whole bunch over a wall to get what he wants - for the love of his sister. The latest "Game of Thrones" episode also revealed that Arya Stark has skills. But what's going to happen in "Game of Thrones" season 6 episode 9?
"No One" did reveal some jump off points. Though nothing major happened, it was enough to indicate some key plots for "Game of Thrones" season 6 episode 9.
For one, Arya is coming back home. After taking down the horrible waif, she has proven herself to be a formidable fighter. Not only that, she ends her conflict with Jaqen that she has a name. She has already become a different person and she's planning to exact revenge on those on her list and inevitably get back to her family. Will she be better than "Needle"? What is exact is that: "A girl is Arya Stark of Winterfell, and I'm going home," said Arya. According to The Verge, since The Hound is still alive, Arya might just find this out and get back to him.
And what about Cersei Lannister? Her saving grace was the trial by combat. Seeing that the Faith Militant saw how strong The Mountain really was, it must have prompted the Faith to rethink its strategy. Cersei will always choose violence but her son has dismissed this practice altogether. This is a problem for Cersei and she will find out how deep the rumors are. There could be a plot to take over the throne.
While in Meereen, Tyrion and his friends are busy maintaining the place without their queen who inevitably came for them with a dragon and a legion of ships behind her.
But fans can never forget Riverrun. That was where Jamie and Brienne of Tarth faced off. Eventually, Brienne failed in her mission to gain Blackfish's aid for Sansa and he died to avoid imprisonment right when his lordly son Edmure surrendered the castle. Nobody died in episode 8 but "Game of Thrones" season 6 episode 9 will bring "Battle of the Bastards" will bring bloodshed for sure. Since Jamie Lannister has already taken back Riverrun, he will come home to Cersei and fight for her. And so will Brienne for Sansa.
