American singer-actress Lindsay Lohan has once again landed on the news, but this time, sans her drinking issues. Lohan earlier posted on her Twitter account a photo of her bandaged left ring finger. It was a screenshot from her Snapchat account captioned, "I almost lost my finger from the anchor. Well, I lost half my finger; thank goodness we found the piece of my finger."
"I just had surgery to fix it." The 30-year-old celebrity also added, "It hurts so bad."
Based on reports from E!, Lohan spent her Sunday relaxing on the boat but unfortunately injured herself as she tried to help get the rope to anchor the vessel. She panicked upon seeing her ring finger torn into two and was immediately rescued by her friends. Lohan was rushed to the hospital where she got treated and had her finger stitched back together by a surgeon.
Lohan also posted a video of her treated ring finger saying, "This is the result of me trying to help anchor the boat by myself. My poor finger."
Her supporters also got worried upon seeing her posts and instantly tweeted her well-wishes.
Born in New York City, Lohan started her career as a fashion model at age three. She later on got featured on a TV series and became a high-profile celebrity in her teens and early 20s. She starred in numerous films such as Herbie, Just My Luck, Freaky Friday and of course, the iconic Mean Girls-with Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert.
In 2007, Lohan got involved in drunk-driving incidents and further violations which gravely affected her endorsements and movie contracts. She later underwent rehabilitation for her drinking problems and other delinquent issues.
Recovering from her past issues, Lohan confirmed her plans of recording and releasing a new album during an online video conference with her fans last June.
