Recently, the talk of 'Rambo' franchise reboot has been circulating, and the saddest news is no 'Sylvester Stallone' for Rambo: New Blood. It will be the fifth Rambo film; speculations are producers and directors are opting for a star in the franchise.
The film rumour creates a buzz in the industry; all are asking what would be without Sylvester Stallone. People had been accustomed to the character he portrayed; they can't seem to think of the movie without him in it.
According to Independent, the producers are hoping for a younger new generation hero. The new war veteran will be a fresh face actor who can provide the movie with a new flavour. 'Rambo' movie series is an eighties massive film, Sylvester Stallone had been the leading actor on all the franchises, and it will never be the same without him.
Nonetheless, Nu Image and Millennium Films, the producers and the executive board for this new instalment of 'Rambo' movie decides to twist the film as 'James Bond' style. Some '007' movies were released on the big screen with different actors playing the lead; it seems the executives are planning for more instalment to come.
It is confirmed by LA Times that a young actor will be stepping into the character, and continuing what was left behind with new undertakings. This move will generate different viewers and reactions, however, that is what the board wants. Luckily, 'James Bond' movies were able to set a new footprint for its new actors and that is the success this 'Rambo' movie wants as well.
Rambo: New Blood will stand in its title for having a new fresh blood leading hero, Stallone's legacy will be carried from the 'Rambo' movie instalments such as First Blood, First Blood Part II and the succeeding ones. John Rambo won't be returning as Stallone as a war-veteran out for revenge.
