Square Enix's "Final Fantasy XV" is just around the corner and the loyal fans of the series are almost free from the captivation of waiting. After multiple issues with development and delays, everything is finally looking brighter for this long time gaming franchise.
"Final Fantasy XV" is rather known for throwing in new things that rather stray from how the series is in tradition, including a different battle system from the traditional turn-based style, the all (attractive) male party and they even went and made the Final Fantasy mascot; the Moogle, a ragdoll to be used as a decoy in battle. Another example of "Final Fantasy XV" being unique in its own way lies within the fourth DLC.
When the game is finally released on November 29, with it comes four initial DLCs and the fourth of which is called the Final Fantasy XV Comrade DLC. The latter will dish out a promising multiplayer feature which is a far cry from the usual Single-player RPG experience that the franchise usually shines in. According to Headlines & Global News, this will "revolutionize the whole gaming experience."
The Final Fantasy XV Comrade DLC is expected to bring forth a four-player co-op mode which will coincide with the first three initial DLCs. The said DLCs are actually character expansion DLCs that will allow the player to access a new single-player mode using one of the members of Noctis' party. Meaning, players will now have Gladio, Ignis and Prompto as playable characters. That alone is already a sweet treat for Final Fantasy Fans, but there is more. The aforementioned Fourth DLC will bring together players that are using the first three DLC's in order for all four to play together, one player for every member of Noctis' party. Sweet!
It seems that the new Final Fantasy game really brought in the big guns, and with this huge character expansion comes an increase in costs as well. Although the prices for the DLCs are yet to be revealed, it is expected that the latter will be rather costly.
