The Brooklyn Nets are reportedly in the midst of dealing with center brooke lopez and speculations that he will be traded before the February deadline of 2017. According to the latest NBA rumors, the Chicago Bulls are interested.
If so that happens, a reunion of the brothers "Lopez Twin Towers" will be one to remember in Windy City.
The Nets entered the 2016-2017 NBA season with a mind set of revision, not only that but the goal to revive the team's legacy as well. The Nets are playing extremely competitive early start of the season.
They already had three losses in five games and with this outcome. They may be expected to become the worst team in the NBA.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN, some rival executives revealed that the Nets are planning to trade Brook Lopez on or before the february deadline of next year. Also the Boston Celtics, one of the reported teams that the Brooklyn Nets want to bump heads with but seems no interests in the deal.
If ever the deal does happen, it could be a reunion with his twin brother Robin Lopez. Brook and Robin Lopez played together in 2005 at Standford University. They have proven to be a good frontcourt combination as they fill each other's weaknesses on the court.
Robin was just recently been acquired by the Chicago Bulls in the offseason a package trade together with Jose Calderon and Jerian Grant, which sent former Chicago superstar Derrick Rose to the Knicks.
Will Brook Lopez be traded to the Windy City to reunite with his brother to form their own version of a "Twin Tower"? If then the trade proceeds, it will credit both teams in filling up the needs to improve on their overall roster.
