Anthony Weiner has recently entered a rehab for cybersex addiction in Tennessee. Add to that is the fact the Presidential candidate Donald Trump actively campaigning against him and has been trying to link him to his opponent Hillary Clinton.
Due to this, many people has generated some form of interest in the subject of cybersex addiction. His addiction came to light due to a sexting scandal that was recently revealed. He was apparently texting a minor with messages that have explicit and obscene content.
According to iTech Post, his addiction also includes having online sex through the use of a webcam and chats with another person that is very sexual in nature. The last revelation was a half naked photo a 15-year-old minor. These string of incidents has greatly derailed and ultimately ruined his career.

Cybersex addiction can be a lot of things. It is an assortment of sexual things that are done without any physical contact with a partner. It involves masturbation, pornography, voyeurism, and more.
According to a report by Metro, Puja Hall, a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in the treatment of sex addiction, cybersex is quite common and that anybody can be affected by it. The reason being is that online porn and dating sites are readily available.
Dr. Jennifer Schneider who is a specialist in addictive sexual disorder also added, "Cybersex is particularly dangerous because it can rapidly lure in someone who has never had any kind of Internet addiction before."
Most cybersex addicts lose interest in their actual sexual partners and many of them end up in divorce.
