'NieR: Automata' News, Update: Japanese Box Art Revealed, PlayStation Bonus Purchase Bonus Announced

"NieR: Automata" Japanese PS4 box art has just been revealed. It is expected to be available for PC and PS4 in North America and Europe in 2017.

Earlier reports claimed that it will be officially launched for PlayStation 4 on February 23 in Japan. Sony and Square Enix are the ones behind the unveiling of the Yoko Taro and Platinum Games original RPG action. "NieR: Automata" also come with a very cool surprise that awaits every single purchase.

Japanese PlayStation stores are giving away a very nice bonus to a game player who will be purchasing the game from their stores. Customers purchasing the said items from these stores are in for a PlayStation-shaped pod.

PlayStation Store bonus pods have interchangeable appearance giving the users the amazing experience of being able to change the pod skin to make it look like a real PlayStation. Japanese PlayStation stores are releasing the cool "Game Machine" pod skins for every "Nier:Automata" purchase on their stores.

Pods provide a long range attack for the game character as well as a more dependable movement support. They were made available for YoRHa automated infantry squad as standard issue support units, Gematsu reported.

On the other hand, Akihiko Yoshida, the game illustrator made the game really looks fantastic through the beautiful art designs it attributed. The art box artwork featured female android YoRHa Type A No. 2 standing behind protagonist Type B known as YoRHa No. 2 carrying android Type S aka YoRHa No. 9.
